This fabulous 100% human hair wig features a medium-length bob cut with textured tresses in a natural brown color. It's a sophisticated style for African-American women living with hair loss due to Alopecia. With every strand of hair individually 6 inches hand-tied into the crown of the cap, it gives the illusion of a very natural hairline while allowing you to part it in the front any way your heart desires.
When we collect the real hair from our donors, it usually arrives naturally straight and in a classic, dark brown color. To create this realistic yaki texture that resembles African-American hair, we braid the hair in sections and steam it for several days to remove its sheen. After the braids are removed, you're left with hair that looks very natural. The hair texture requires seven days to create but the end result is well worth the wait as it will look like you were born with it.
The lace area of the wig defines where it can be parted. Simply put, a lace front means there is only lace in the front of the wig. Lace goes from ear to ear across the hairline and provides 6-inches of parting space at the crown of the cap to give the illusion of a natural scalp for a gorgeous hairline.
This cap style is an ideal African-American wig for alopecia patients because the back of the wig includes a built-in stretch material that's similar to nylon for easy application and a breathable fit. - The cap is general for all wig wearers, therefore, can not be specific to African Americans, The only factor that makes a wig ideal for African American women is the natural looking & feeling of texture.
While the wig cap stretches for easy application, it's imperative that you determine your correct size and before ordering your lace front wig. If you're unsure whether or not the lace front is for you, simply click the cap construction tab to compare the pros and cons of each stock cap and determine which design suits your lifestyle.
When your human hair wig is delivered to your home, it will be ready to wear right out of the box. However, you may want to style it curly with the use of hot tools and since human hair is so versatile, you can do just that.
Straight human hair wigs are low maintenance and should be washed and air-dried at least once a month if you use it regularly.
To adequately care for your wig, you may even need to wash it more often if you're styling it a lot but please keep in mind that washing too often can strip the hair of its natural cuticles and it must be air-dried for maintaining its quality. Click the Care tab for step-by-step care instructions and product recommendations.
